Review
An interesting (albeit often theoretical) look at the life and times of one of the most influential and divisive figures in all of Christianity. While Chilton admits that many of the book’s ‘specifics’ are logical conclusions to which he’s come based on scriptures and other ancient texts, they do aid in creating a sense of ‘time and place’ and likewise help to paint the apostle as a three-dimensional human being — a reality that folks sometimes forget when reading the Bible.
