About the author.

WHO IS THIS GUY?

Josh Greene is a multi-talented genius and humanitarian who enjoys writing his own bios. After a tour of duty in the trenches of children's theater, his professional career was launched with an appearance on FRASIER, which catapulted him into a guesthouse in the Valley. Shortly thereafter he did some time in the Broadway musical RENT, then returned home to pursue lifelong goals like fame, fortune, and the elimination of world hunger. Josh was the star of Discovery Channel’s RALLY ROUND THE HOUSE, and recently wrapped his 50th episode of TLC’s 10 YEARS YOUNGER. Providing the voice of Jimmy Lizard in the Weinstein Company’s animated hit HOODWINKED, he also penned the song RUNAWAY which was included on the film's award-winning soundtrack. In 2005 Josh wrote/directed/produced THE COMMISSION, a film which walked away with nine nominations and three wins, including "Best Comedy" and "Best Screenplay" at the 168 Hour Film Festival in L.A. Last year he starred with Tenacious D's Kyle Gass in the smash hit musical ROCK OF AGES, and is currently in development on three feature films, a television pilot, and his first solo album. It's looking like world hunger may just have to wait -- Or you could visit ONE.org and help stamp it out yourself!

Okay, it’s official: This world is a beautiful place, and you only have to go to New York City (or YouTube) to prove it. Check out Greg Patillo, the amazing dude who beatboxes WHILE he’s playing his flute (and no, that’s not a euphemism). In this clip he’s accompanied by Eric Stevenson on the cello, and they’re playing in a subway station. For more killer tunes/videos check out his YouTube collection: FreedomworksFilms. Rock ON!

I don’t care if this makes you laugh, cry, or just pause for thought; it’s a brilliant commentary on the state of things. I wish every middle class kid in America with half a brain would sit down and really digest this little slice of social satire. Heck, it might do the parents some good too.

My writing partner sent me this, and while I’m quite sure it’s inappropriate on any number of levels, a laugh is a laugh is laugh… and this made me laugh.

The Library is Open…

Yes, it’s been a few days since I posted. Yes, I’m still battling this darn cold/flu bug. And yes, I’ve been doing something constructive with all that lousy free time. You see, after much trial (and a little tribulation) I’ve finally gotten my Book Review page up and current. Go on with my bad self!

Now I’m not exactly CSS or PHP fluent, but with a keen little plugin by Rob Miller called Now-Reading, and some behind the scenes code-sniffing over at Dark Faerytale, I’ve managed to put together a pretty decent Library of my own. Click the “Books” link above and take a look around!

And while we’re on the topic of bibliophilia, do yourself a favor and check out HOT LIBRARY SMUT: A collection of beautiful library photography I happened across whilst scouring the web for book-related graphics.

As much as I hate to admit it, this place is turning into an A/V Club. I’d initially thought that I’d have a separate page for videos/music/soundbytes and the like, but I’m realizing that more often than not, the stuff I wanna share is the random AudioVisual brilliance I find around the Net. So in an effort to keep things more up-to-date, I’m throwing caution to the wind and posting whatever the heck I feel like from now on.

When there’s something interesting going on in my life I’ll certainly fill you all in, but in the meantime you’re in for treats like this…
